During the period May 13–16, 2026, the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics (FCIM) of the Technical University of Moldova actively participated in the annual edition of the Technical-Scientific Conference of Students, Master’s and Doctoral Students – a traditional event included in the academic calendar of UTM and dedicated to promoting scientific research and innovation among young researchers.
This year’s edition brought together over 300 participants from four countries, consolidating the role of the conference as a reference academic platform for presenting research results, exchanging ideas and developing interdisciplinary and international collaborations.
During the three days of activity, 215 scientific presentations were held, organized within seven thematic sections and subsections:
• Software Engineering and Security;
• Systems Engineering;
• Computer Science;
• Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies;
• Databases;
• Biomedical Engineering;
• Social and Human Sciences.
The scientific sessions, moderated by faculty members and researchers, facilitated a constructive academic dialogue, offering participants the opportunity to present their own research results, receive specialized feedback and develop new perspectives for collaboration.
The conference was attended by students, master’s and doctoral students from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and Germany, which reflects the international nature of the event and the continued openness of UTM and FCIM to cross-border academic cooperation.
The presented papers addressed current topics of major interest to the scientific community and the contemporary technological environment, including areas such as artificial intelligence, data security, digital technologies, microelectronics, nanotechnologies, intelligent systems and urban sustainability. At the same time, the exchange of experience and discussions generated during the sessions contributed to the shaping of new research initiatives and partnerships.
The Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics sincerely thanks the members of the scientific committee, the organizers, the section moderators and all participants for their professionalism, involvement and contribution to the holding of the conference at the highest academic standards.
By organizing and supporting such scientific events, the Technical University of Moldova reaffirms its commitment to promoting excellent research, supporting young researchers and strengthening international academic collaboration.
