During February–March 2026, at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Research, the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics within UTM carried out the second stage of the Ethics and Academic Integrity module, dedicated to students of the English-taught Software Engineering (FAF) program.

Throughout the four modules, students actively participated in interactive sessions, analyzing case studies and addressing essential topics such as types of plagiarism, copyright compliance, and behaviors that may affect academic and professional integrity. The activities were complemented by discussions and reflections on the role of integrity in the educational and professional journey.

A distinctive element of this stage was the active involvement of international students, contributing to a diverse and collaborative academic environment. Feedback from participants highlighted the importance of these modules, emphasizing that integrity is not just an academic requirement, but the foundation of a responsible career and a society based on trust.

Through such activities, the importance of training competent specialists, but also integrity, responsibility and guided by solid ethical values, is reaffirmed.
