Students of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics of the Technical University of Moldova constantly demonstrate involvement and performance, actively participating not only in national competitions, but also in prestigious international competitions.

They recently returned from the “Mihail Konteschweller” Microcontrollers and Applications Competition, held on April 24, 2026, at the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași, Romania, with remarkable results. Representing the Applied Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies, Biomedical Engineering and Robotics study programs, the students stood out in one of the most relevant academic events in the field of microelectronics and embedded systems.

The students stood out for their outstanding performances, being rewarded with special prizes offered by prestigious international companies:

These results reflect the high level of training of the students, as well as their ability to develop innovative technical solutions, with real applicability in industry. Participation in such competitions significantly contributes to the professional training of future engineers, stimulating creativity, critical thinking and team spirit. Also, the success achieved highlights the essential role of coordinating teachers, who support and guide students in the research and innovation process.

Through these achievements, the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics reconfirms its status as a center of excellence in the field of engineering and modern technologies.
