The students of the Information Security study program accepted the invitation of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics and actively participated in the Assembly held on March 23, 2026, in Aula 3-3 “Amdaris”.
The event constituted a platform for open dialogue, within which topics relevant to the academic and professional career of the students were addressed, such as current problems encountered in the study process, internship and employment opportunities, as well as directions for the development of research in the field of cybersecurity.
During the meeting, the Dean of FCIM, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Ciorbă Dumitru, emphasized the strategic importance of the Information Security study program in the current context of digital transformations and the need to strengthen cybersecurity at the national and international level.
The event was also attended by Assoc. Prof., Dr. Fiodorov Ion, Head of Department, Asst. Prof. Astafi Valentina and asst. univ. Bulai Rodica, who actively contributed to the discussions and supported the initiatives proposed by the students.
The students demonstrated a high level of involvement, participating in constructive exchanges of opinions and supporting the initiative to establish a student association in the field of information security, aimed at promoting collaboration, knowledge exchange and the development of the academic community in the Republic of Moldova.
The event reflects the joint commitment of students and teaching staff to the consolidation and continuous development of the study program, as well as to the creation of relevant opportunities for training and professional affirmation.
