The Faculty of Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics (FCIM) is strengthening its academic community by attracting and supporting young specialists who choose to pursue a professional career in academia. This academic year, the FCIM-UTM team has welcomed a group of young university assistants who are just beginning their teaching careers.
To mark this occasion, the faculty leadership organized a meeting with the new members of the teaching staff. FCIM Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dumitru Ciorbă, together with the heads of departments, offered congratulations and words of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of the younger generation’s involvement in the development and continuity of the academic environment. In recognition of their decision to pursue a teaching career and their commitment to the FCIM community, the young assistants were presented with certificates of appreciation.
The certificates were awarded to university assistants Elena Bogaci, Dan Capațina, Iuliana Chichioi, Ruxanda-Maria Chițac, Maxim Chistol, Daniel Istrati, Cristian Prodius, and Maxim Reșetnicov.
In their addresses to the new colleagues, the faculty leadership highlighted the vital role young educators play in modernizing the educational process—by connecting with students, integrating current industry perspectives, and embracing new teaching and learning methods.
At the same time, emphasis was placed on the responsibility inherent in transitioning from the status of student or young specialist to that of an educator: imparting knowledge, fostering academic rigor, and inspiring new generations of students. By integrating young specialists into the departments’ teaching activities, FCIM invests in the continuity and development of its academic community, creating an environment where the experience of established faculty members is complemented by the energy, initiative, and perspectives of the new generation.
We wish our new colleagues inspiration, perseverance, and many professional achievements in their teaching and academic work.
Welcome to the FCIM team!
