General description

  • The Information Technology program trains master’s degree specialists who demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of information systems, possessing a wide range of knowledge, skills, and competencies, with a spirit of synthesis and systemic vision, extreme responsiveness and the ability to react immediately, pedagogical and communication skills, enabling them to: choose criteria and methods for analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of scientific methods applied to problem-solving; select criteria and methods for evaluating the quality, performance, and limitations of systems to be developed in line with the needs of the organization, including those necessary for defining a quality and security management system; use criteria and methods determined by application technologies for assessing conformity with interoperability standards; apply criteria and methods for evaluating the system development process from the perspective of quality and performance; use criteria and methods for evaluating the functional and non-functional characteristics of system components; model typical problems from applied sciences using mathematical tools; develop a project (system specification) under the conditions of an existing quality and security management system; develop software applications using modern data transmission, storage, and processing technologies in line with the needs of an organization; develop and implement software for concrete problems from various fields of human activity; implement an architectural and infrastructure solution based on constraints defined by the project.
