The Information Technology for Business program trains specialists with a master’s degree, providing in-depth knowledge of information systems in the economic field. Graduates will possess a synthetic and systemic vision, extreme responsiveness, and the ability to react immediately, along with pedagogical and communication skills for the following activities: selecting criteria and methods for analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of scientific methods and procedures applied to solve economic problems; choosing criteria and methods for evaluating the quality, performance, and limitations of systems to be developed according to business needs, including those required to define a quality and security management system; using criteria and methods determined by application technologies to assess conformity with interoperability standards; evaluating the development process of systems in terms of quality and performance; evaluating the functional and non-functional characteristics of system components; modeling typical problems from applied sciences using mathematical tools; and developing a project (system specification) under the conditions of an existing quality and security management system.
