The Objectives of The Center

  1. Preparation of the scientific cadres, students of cycles I, II and III in the field of microelectronics engineering, nanotechnologies, nanomaterials and nanosensors; 
  2. Elaboration of advanced technologies for obtaining nanoarchitectures based on oxide semiconductors, metal oxides and other small semiconductor structures; 
  3. Elaboration and manufacture of sensors and nanosensors based on oxide semiconductors (ZnO, CuO, Fe2O3, SnO2, MoO3,TiO2, etc.) and their heterostructures;
  4. Manufacture of the interconnected networks of nanoarchitectures for the detection of gas and ultraviolet radiation, especiall hydrogen, acetone, ethanol, carbon oxide etc.; 
  5. Research of the electrical, optical and photoelectric properties of the nanostructured materials and the heterostructures based on them; 
  6. Development of new micro-optoelectronic and nanoelectronic devices with performance parameters for detecting harmful gases, vapors of volatile organic compounds, for biomedicine etc; 
  7. Elaboration of physico-chemical mechanisms of detection; 
  8. Offering the conditions for conducting internships of students, masters as well as conducting researches of TUM doctoral students abroad; 
  9. Ensure the preparation of the thesis, master’s degree, doctor of sciences and doctor habilitate based on the results obtained by the young researches within the NN Center; 
  10. Systematization of experimental data and preparation for publication in scientific papares reviewed in international journals together with universities of the EU, US, etc.; 
  11. Execution of national and international projects; 
  12. Consultation of companies that operate in these areas.
