General Description

  • Applied Informatics is a modern direction of computer science, used in all areas of society related to multilingual information processing. Graduate Competencies: Knowledge of up-to-date advanced programming languages; the ability to design, develop, and maintain software products in different fields based on modern information processing technologies; competencies and skills in natural language processing and applying this knowledge to the design and implementation of human-machine interfaces; experience working with operating systems, databases, and knowledge systems, artificial intelligence systems, etc. 

  • Graduates of the Applied Informatics specialty will be able to work in all areas of society that require IT support and/or multilingual communications.
