General Description

  • The competencies of graduates in this field are: estimating the level of information security of the enterprise; developing the information system security policy based on infrastructure; evaluating the risks related to the use of the enterprise’s information technologies; proposing effective ways, mechanisms, and tools to ensure the organization’s information security; implementing the requirements of the information security policy; selecting and implementing mechanisms and tools to prevent unauthorized access to informational resources; formulating the issues related to the successful integration of IT tools in computer networks; developing secure applications following international security standards recommendations, etc. 

  • Graduates of the program can hold positions as IT systems analysts, information security systems engineers, designers, and programmers of secure IT systems; they can be employed in enterprises and organizations from various sectors of the national economy, particularly in roles that involve information security activities.
