General Description

  • The Information Technology program prepares system and application programmers. The activities of an engineer in information technology are focused on information processes determined by the specific nature of the activity sector; events, functional processes, and databases in the relevant field; activities related to administrative decision-making or expert conclusions, informational flows, and material, informational, financial resources, and other elements characteristic to the domain. Professional information systems are oriented towards organizing the collection, storage, analysis, processing, and transmission of information necessary for managing functional processes, and more. 

  • An IT engineer is trained to develop and manage information systems across all sectors of human activity, to analyze, forecast, model, and manage processes and technologies within professional-oriented information systems.
