UPGRADE Research Visit to Suceava Strengthens RO-MD Collaboration in Bioinformatics
In May-June 2026, the UPGRADE project team carried out a research visit at “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, the Romanian partner of the project. The activities focused on environmental sample collection, metadata standardization, laboratory protocol optimization, and the development of the bioinformatics workflow for the UP-GEN platform. The visit strengthens the RO-MD scientific partnership and highlights bioinformatics as an emerging strategic research direction at UTM.
