In the context of accelerated digital transformation and the increasingly significant impact of artificial intelligence on education and the IT industry, the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics (FCIM) of the Technical University of Moldova continues to strengthen its strategic collaboration with Allied Testing Moldova — one of the faculty’s key partners in the development of students’ professional and practical competencies.
A working session dedicated to consolidating the educational partnership between FCIM and Allied Testing Moldova was held at the Allied Testing IT Park headquarters, aiming to identify modern directions for IT education development and to align the academic training process with current labor market requirements.
The discussions were facilitated by representatives of Allied Testing Moldova:
• Eugen Galamaga – General Director;
• Veaceslav Nastasenco – Director;
• Olesea Pihtari – HR Manager.
The Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics was represented by:
• Assoc. Prof., PhD Ion Fiodorov – Head of the Department of Software Engineering and Automatics;
• Svetlana Coocaru – Deputy Head of the SEA Department;
• Assoc. Prof., PhD Natalia Burlacu;
• Assoc. Prof., PhD Daniela Istrati.
The dialogue between representatives of academia and the IT industry highlighted the shared interest in modernizing the educational process, updating curricular content, and strengthening the connection between university education and the real demands of the labor market.
Among the topics discussed were the impact of artificial intelligence on education and IT professions, the transformation of the competency profile required by industry, the evolving role of the teacher in the context of technological change, and the necessity of continuously adapting study programs.
FCIM continues to promote sustainable partnerships with the industrial sector, considering collaboration with IT companies an essential element for the development of modern, relevant education aligned with the dynamics of the digital ecosystem.
Through such initiatives, the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics reaffirms its commitment to supporting academic excellence, innovation, and the training of a new generation of highly competitive specialists at both national and international levels.
