Earth Rover: Connecting Things

”Earth Rover” is a competition dedicated to science and technology, which aims to train as many young people who are passionated about robotics, mechatronics, automatics and electronics from all over the country and abroad. The competition aims to stimulate and develop the creativity and the innovative spirit, to provide future development opportunities for engineers through challenges that allow them to implement their ideas. The aim of this competition is to initiate international collaborations between students and companies in order to ensure the development of the new generation of engineers, programmers and designers. 

The (hackathon type) competition, dedicated to Mobile Systems and IoT Services aims to popularize the results obtained by the students in the domains of: robotic systems and assistance services, mechatronics, computing, data acquisition and processing, programming and artificial intelligence. The competition projects are elaborated within 24 hours with the helf of the devices offered by the organizers. 

Teams from Moldova, Romania and the Ukraine were present at the previous editions of the competition.
