The Objectives of the Syndicate Office

The Student Syndicate Organization’s aim is to socially protect, care for the rights and interests of the students and their activities. Within the student Syndicate Bureau there are 5 active departments, which hold the current main directions of activity: 

  1. Education and professional forming
    • Involvement in study programs, evaluation of quality assurance; 
    • Personal development training for students; 
    • Collaboration with the structures of continuous and professional training within the university; 
    • Campaigns to inform students about academic mobility, Erasmus+ programs etc.; 
    • Participation in the organization of scientific activities; 
    • Organization of student creativity activities; 
  2.  Social
    • Participate in the accommodation of students in the institution’s dormitories; 
    • Monitors the health status and living conditions in the dormitories; 
    • Manages the homeowners’ database; 
    • Collaborates with councils of tenants of student dormitories; 
    • Is responsible for the activities organized by the tenants of the dorms / held in the dorms; 
    • Monitors the quality of food and sanitary conditions in the feeding places of the students within the institution; 
    • Provides social assistance to students (scholarships, material aids, transport subscriptions, EduCard etc.) 
  3. Culture, leisure, tourism and sports
    • Organizes and promotes cultural activities; 
    • Organizes and promotes sports activities; 
    • Provides leisure and tourism activities; 
  4. PR and external relations
    • Cooperation and experience exchange with similar student organizations; 
    • Identification of partners and funds for the activities of the structure; 
    • Promotion of the activities of the structure through various methods including www.studentus.md and other online media sources; 
    • Promotion of the image of the organization and the university; 
    • Development of advertorials; 
  5. Organization and human resources
    • Prepares and monitors the structure’s documentation; 
    • Organizes election campaigns; 
    • Informs and records the members of the structure.  
    • Continuous training of the active members of the self-governing organization.
