Contest description

Gartner estimates that by 2020, chats will handle 85 percent of customer interactions; currently it manages about 30% of transactions. 

The student competition is focused on creating a chat using artificial intelligence and methods of natural language processing. It involves the creation of software that performs  a conversation through auditory or textual methods, designed to convincingly stimulate how a person would behave as a conversation partner. 

The contest is expected to be organized after an introductory course in the usual techniques of chat creation (NLU/NLG, Django/Pyhton) and search engines. Students are then divided into teams of 3-4 people. The teams have about 24 hours to build their projects.
