Contest description

In December of 2018, the CIRCLE scientific-didactic center of the department of “Software Engineering and Automatics” and BEST Chișinău organized the first edition of the contest “Christmas Hackathon – Internet of Things Edition”.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the most challenging technologies in development, which progressively tends to become part of the daily life. The Internet of Things is a concept that defines a world in which all physical objects – devices, vehicles, buildings, industrial equipment and other elements, incorporated with electronic equipment, actuators, sensors and software – are connected to each other through the Internet to be supervised and controlled.

In this way, today’s students are tomorrow’s engineers, who will have IoT implemented in all areas of the national economy. Internet of Things won’t just be a concept for them, it will be how they use technology to provide services and produce goods.
