CTF-UTM cyber security contest

The Capture The Flag (CTF) type contest is organized annually by the students of the study program “Information Security”, which aims to test the creativity and ability to implement specific technical knowledge in managing problems regarding the security of web pages, encryption methods, inversion, exploitation. 

The contest consists of solving 10 problems of information security, the identification of 7 keys (flags), all of these of progressive difficulty by penetrating some web applications or systems with induced vulnerabilities. Competitors benefit from the opportunity to remotely connect to a dedicated computer platform. With each solved problem, they ensure a proportional increase of the score, and after the completion of the tests, a ranking of the participating teams is generated.
