General Description

  • Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies are the fields of science and technology that are essential for the sustainable development of countries with advanced economies and include all the means and methods of human activity required for the design, development, and production of electronic and optoelectronic devices, integrated circuits, microelectronic systems, as well as the use of microelectronic systems in electronic installations, computing technology, automation, and electronic systems for various sectors of the economy. 

    Main activities: the development, design, use, control, and application of semiconductor devices, microprocessors, integrated circuits, transducers, and sensors; microelectronic, optoelectronic, and acousto-electronic systems with advanced technologies; nanotechnologies, new multifunctional materials, nanodevices, integrated systems, and microsystems; programming in electronics. 

  • A specialist in the Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies field has the necessary training to work in enterprises, organizations, and institutions in the national economy as an engineer, manager, scientific researcher, programmer, and specialist in management and marketing in the respective field.
